I've Been Writing a Novel
A short announcement about The Epoch Accord, a literary speculative fiction novel being written in English and Spanish in parallel.
For the past year and change, I've been working on a novel. It's called The Epoch Accord — El Pacto de la Época in the Spanish version, which I'm writing in parallel rather than translating after.
It's literary speculative fiction. More than a book, it's a reading experience. The book is the center, but not the whole. I'd rather you discover that part than me explain it.
It came from three decades in software, four decades over a keyboard, the people who came along for the ride, and some ideas that needed exploring.
I'm still an engineer. I hope to be one for a long time. This is something I wanted to do, and now it exists.
